In 2019, we celebrate the 15th anniversary in Rwanda of the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief, known as PEPFAR. The generosity of the American people and our collective public health engagement has saved more than 16 million lives worldwide and brought us closer than ever to controlling the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
